ALLOWED
Regional style (19th century revival style)
Vertical loom woven (no cut warps)
Belt Loom
Stretch loom
Hand spinning and vegetable dyes given special consideration
Natural fiber only
Non-regional and Contemporary Style
:
Vertical and Horizontal loom woven
Synthetic and metallic yarns allowed as well as vegetable dyes and hand-spun yarns
Woven mixed media allowed
Quilts, Sheets, Table Linens
Woven, sewn, and embroidered textiles allowed
PERSONAL ATTIRE:
Contemporary and Traditional garments/Dress
Embroidered cloth, woven textiles, Sewing, Knitting, crocheting, braiding.
NOT ALLOWED:
No towels and other commercial items
No mass-produced items
No commercial kits, patterns, iron-on applique or liquid embroidery will be accepted.
No manufactured or non-Indian made die-struck metal buttons or conchos
No hot glue
No product made from imported blankets. i.e. El Paso Blanket Co.
Note: Ribbon entries must not be sold or promised at the time of Judging.
